These are great shoes. I've worn them treking through the woods in the snow and my feet were so warm they were sweating. It was also 9 degrees F outside at the time. My breath was freezing on my eyelashes but my feet were very comfortable and warm. I would definitely recommend these shoes for A+'s in both warmth and comfort!

My 23 year old daughter wanted a winter boot that was stylish, but most importantly warm. She lives in Vermont, so she really needed something that would perform well in very cold/snowy weather. She loves these boots and claims they don't only keep her feet warm and dry, but they are also very comfortable.She lives in an urban area and does a lot of walking so comfort is important. I hemmed and hawed over the price when doing my research on these boots, but based on other reviews I read, decided they were worth the extra money...I was right!

I was skeptical and unlike everyone else, I did not find them "cute". However, I desperately needed a pair of snow boots - I work outside at night rain or shine. You can imagine how cold that gets in the winter in the snow. These boots are AWESOME! I love love love them, I took others advice on this page and ordered them 1/2 size too big and they're PERFECT. Super comfy right out of the box, and toasty warm with or without sox.
If you're having a debate in your head right now, git it up and just purchase these boots!

Although these Talkeetna boots are very well insulated and durable, they are not the most comfortable I've worn (the reason for 4 stars rather than 5). They are not uncomfortable, though. I prefer these to the ever-popular Uggs, which just don't appeal to me, as far as fashion is concerned. These boots are very easy to get on and off, and pant legs are easy to tuck in. I love that string-ties, you can adjust how snug they are. I also have gotten several compliments on them. I recommend these boots, and would buy them again.

I am a huge fan of ULU boots. Why? Quality product for sure. I love these boots, and bought them to use for snowshoeing as well. I have not taken them on the trail yet, but I have been in the snow enough to know they will do great. They look cute with jeans tucked in or out!!
