We purchased these for the specific purpose of going to Johnson Shut-Ins, in Missouri, which is a river where it flows shallowly and swiftly over igneous rock outcroppings. It has varied terrain, slippery, wet, some loose, yet she was climbing around without any trouble. She mentioned that they were very comfortable and wore them around the campsite the remainder of the week, even when not around the water.

I love these sandals! They fit well even though I have wide feet with a high arch, the straps make them adjustable. Normally I wear an 8 1/2 wide. I got the size 8. I have been wearing them all summer. My feet have never been more comfortable.

Can't think of a down side to them. Other then I hate having to put my work boots on.

I love this sandal. I bought these as a replacement for my first pair of Columbia sandals, which were almost worn out and then finished off by a sneaky puppy. I wear these shoes all the time. They are the most comfortable walking shoes I have; I can walk in them all day and still feel good. The soles are good quality and cushiony, but the best part is that they're very lightweight--much lighter than comparable sandals like Teva. That makes them easier to walk in and less taxing. In addition to being comfortable, they are durable. I had my first pair for over two years and walked several miles a day every day for about 8 months a year. All of these things and the low price make these sandals a real deal. Also, I bought these from Amazon using Amazon Prime and got them the very next day, so I was thrilled with the service!
